The Irvine Fine Arts Center will host its 34th annual Holiday Faire on Friday, November 4 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, November 5 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Talented Orange County artists will showcase unique handmade gifts for purchase, including holiday decorations, hand-blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, folk crafts, clothing and more.
Featuring an interactive craft area and festive holiday music, the Faire offers the opportunity to shop while experiencing the excitement of the season. Selected food items are available for purchase in collectible ceramic bowls made by Fine Arts Center volunteers.
$2 per person
Children 12 and younger are free

Each June, the Irvine Fine Arts Center hosts the annual Studio Arts Festival in Heritage Park. The juried Festival showcases Southern California artists and their original works of art for purchase in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber, and glass. The Festival also features music, art demonstrations, and food – including ice cream sundaes served in handmade collectible ceramic bowls.

My booth will be set up indoors where it will be nice and cool. I will have original paintings as well as prints and cards. Please stop by and say hello.

"The Los Rios Historic District is a neighborhood in the city of San Juan Capistrano, California and, with buildings dating to 1794, is the oldest continually occupied neighborhood in the state.[2][3] The nearby Mission San Juan Capistrano was the first of the 21 California Missions to have Indians, soldiers and workers live outside the mission grounds.[3] Three adobes are remaining in the Los Rios neighborhood itself, although there are a number of others close by outside of it which were part of what was once a larger neighborhood.[3]
The neighborhood originally had 40 adobe structures but most were replaced in the 19th century by wooden board and batten structures.[4] Thirty-one of the buildings in Los Rios and the surrounding area are on the national register of historic places.[4]
Other points of interest in or adjacent to the district include the historic train depot, El Adobe de Capistrano and the Basilica."

Copperwood Artware Gallery hosted a great opening reception for the artists. It was great seeing some old friends and meeting new ones. Thank you to all who attended. My 3 paintings and a bunch of prints are on display until the end of March.
